Runout Groove kick off their first season at Mint Club, bringing Leipzig-based producers M.ono & Luvless to Leeds on March 19th.
The Runout Groove guys have pulled out all the stops for their first season at Mint Club, starting on 19th March with M.ono & Luvless playing a 3 hour set. Their aim is to bring a fresh outlook on the Leeds music scene, providing obscure disco re-edits and the kind of soulful house brought to the forefront of the scene by labels such as Tartelet, Money $ex Records and Razor-N-Tape. M.ono & Luvless have been killing it for a while now with their independent releases on the likes of Heist Recordings and Sleazy Beats, while their label Rose Records, who we interviewed back in November, continues to produce quality. They have recently put their heads together with releases on O_RS and Stamp The Wax, and have been tearing up dance floors throughout Europe.
There will be support provided from Manchester-based producer Loz Goddard, who has had a string of big releases on Outplay and Razor-N-Tape in the last few months. There hasn’t been such a refreshing line up from a promotor’s maiden night since Absentminds came to Mint Club back in 2012.
Check out a sampler mix below for a taste of what to expect, and a teaser of the projection mapping visuals on the night. Head over to the event page for more info, tickets are still available over at See Tickets from £7.
