Danny Krivit presents Special Disco Edits Vol. 1 (TK Disco)

“T.K Disco’s 21st century re-edit series continues, with Danny Krivit providing fresh scalpel reworks of classic tracks from the legendary Miami label’s archives.”

New York-based underground legend Danny Krivit, opens up his personal archive of re-edits for release via Henry Stone’s T.K. Disco imprint. Krivit’s name has become synonymous with underground dance music, in a career that has spanned almost half a century, the New York DJ has been spinning the good stuff for years and doesn’t appear to be slowing anytime soon.

The 12″ features two edits of the highest order, A1 features a cut of Voyage’s ‘Lady America’, who have released on Stone’s imprint themselves over the years. B1 brings some afro style percussion to the table with an edit of Voyage’s ‘Point Zero’, an afro funk cut, with heavy percussion and chanted vocals.

The EP was released at the start of this week and is available over at Juno, listen to a preview of both tracks here.
