Banoffee Pies bring the fifth edition of their ‘Original Series’ with another curation of obscure sounds and analogue jams, featuring Liem & Eddie Ness and ac$.
We seem to have posted an influx of VA’s and compilations over the past month, and the stream seems to keep on coming. I promised myself that I wouldn’t post up another one this week, and then Banoffee Pies drops a sneak peek at their latest ‘Original Series’ release. Following on from the likes of Philou Louzolo and Môme’s last release on BP004, which leaned more heavily towards the house side of things, BP005 stays true to form of having “no signature sound”, bringing two sides of acid fuelled soundscapes straight out of space.
Banoffee Pies has a knack for curating interesting releases from both well known producers alongside relatively unknown names. Side A features Liem and Eddie Ness who you may know from the Lehult imprint, who are hosting Byron the Aquarius in Hamburg next month. ac$ brings up Side B, a new recruit to BPS, journeying into the unknown with his typically analogue-acid jams.
It seems two producers are better than one, at least the latest stream of VA releases points towards that fact, take a listen to the preview below and decide for yourselves. BP005 is available for pre order now, due out 11th November.
