Chicago crate digger Sadar Bahar comes to the Hifi Club Leeds on 19th November for a steamy vinyl affair, bringing a selection of soulful jams from his renowned collection.
Described in his most recent set for the Boiler Room at Dekmantel as “having more soul in his little finger than most of us have in our entire bodies”, Sadar Bahar has been on a life long journey digging, and building his record collection since the 70’s, now with over 14,000 up his sleeve.
From his early days back at the Music Box in Chicago, Bahar is no stranger to supplying the dance floor with rare soul and disco cuts, however its this obsession that has seen his rise in the last decade to becoming one of the go-to guys for guaranteed grooves.
After a summer of touring Europe, touching base at the likes of Red Bull Music Academy, Boiler Room and Dimensions Festival, Bahar stops off in Leeds for a night of soulful vibes in the basement of Hifi Club, this ones not going to be one to miss.
