Tartelet Records unveils a shimmering rework courtesy of resident Danish beatmaker Uffe for the first in their White Label Series.
Copenhagen based producer Uffe returns to hometown label Tartelet Records after a series of releases including his recent ‘OYE Edits 03’. Uffe first caught our ears after his debut album back in 2015 ‘Radio Days’ on Tartelet Records not long after the release of Max Graef’s ‘Rivers of the Red Planet’. Like ‘Radio Days’ Tartelet Records seems to have become synonymous with an eclectic mix of genres, bringing together breaks, hip hop, jazz and house.
Uffe’s latest release ‘Love Is Everywhere’ is a fresh take on Pharoah Sanders’ 1974 cult classic of the same name, an eleven-minute journey through claps, percussive hits and broken piano melodies, as the vocals phase in and out. We can definitely see this one being played at the end of the night! The b-side ‘Rytme Version’ changes the tone once again which heavy dubbed out beats, percussive breaks and acid synths.
‘Love Is Everywhere will be the first of the new White Label Series and is set for release 15th June, keep your eyes peeled at the usual suspects for pre order. Take a listen to the preview below via Tartelet Records Soundcloud – Enjoy!
